Four Sisters Cafe Expanding With New Coffee Shop in Roseville

Four Sisters Cafe Expanding With New Coffee Shop in Roseville

ROSEVILLE, CALIFORNIA — One of Roseville’s well-known family-run breakfast restaurants is preparing for its new chapter, with Four Sisters Cafe announcing plans to create a dedicated coffee shop alongside its long-standing eatery.

The new concept, called Four Sisters Coffee, will open in the same shopping center as the original café on Fairway Drive, continuing a business journey that started more than a decade ago with four sisters chasing what once seemed impossible.

What’s New

The expansion comes 14 years after sisters Gina Sanders, Tricia Cleland, Julie Geffre, and Lisa Lees founded Four Sisters Cafe in Roseville.

According to the family, the upcoming coffee shop is meant to feel like a natural extension of the restaurant’s atmosphere — centered around familiar faces, comfort, and community connection.

The café made the announcement on social media, characterizing the new space as one centered on “great food and coffee” as well as the same inviting environment that customers have come to expect from the old eatery.

An official opening date hasn’t been announced yet, but hiring has already started for baristas and front-of-house staff.

Menu & Experience (with POV)

While the full coffee shop menu hasn’t been revealed yet, the concept is expected to focus heavily on specialty coffee drinks paired with the warm, approachable style Four Sisters Cafe is already known for.

Based on the restaurant’s current reputation, the coffee shop will most likely lean toward neighborhood familiarity rather than trendy minimalist café culture — the type of place where regulars know the staff and linger over coffee rather than rushing out.

From my perspective, that’s exactly why this expansion feels promising.

Four Sisters Cafe — Sacramento Food Review

A lot of independent coffee shops today compete on aesthetics first. But Four Sisters has already established something much more difficult to achieve: emotional connection and customer loyalty.

And honestly, that kind of foundation often matters more than the coffee itself.

Community Buzz

Part of what’s making this opening resonate locally is the story behind it.

The sisters began working as waiters in restaurants as teenagers before parting ways in college. Years later, they reunited with the goal of opening their own business.

But getting there wasn’t easy.

For nearly eight years, banks consistently denied them business loans, while investors and landlords saw the notion as too hazardous. Then, after losing their father to terminal brain cancer in 2012, the sisters paused their plans entirely.

Just months later, they were unexpectedly presented with the location that eventually became Four Sisters Cafe.

That background has become part of the restaurant’s identity, and it is certainly one of the reasons why the business has gained such strong local support over time.

Final Thoughts

Four Sisters Coffee seems like more than simply another new café.

It’s the continuation of a family business that survived rejection, setbacks, and personal loss before becoming a recognizable part of Roseville’s local food scene.

After more than a decade, the sisters are growing again — not by changing who they are, but by enhancing the atmosphere and warmth that first drew customers in.

If you’re in Roseville, this is one local opening worth keeping an eye on.
